Melba Beals, one of  the Little Rock Nine,  visited our school and spoke to us about her life. After her visit, students in Room 58 created  storyboards to show how the courage of  those nine teenagers made our lives better and changed the world. They also wrote poems  expressing what they learned about ignorance, racism, hatred, courage, education, and doing the right thing.
