How does the setting influence the conflict and the resolution of the plot?

Matilda, Ms. Honey and Ms. Trunchbull all spend a lot of time at the school, Crunchem Hall, and that is where Ms. Honey finds out that Matilda is exthemely smart and decides to befriend her.

Because of this new friendship Ms.Honey reveals to Matilda that she is Ms. Trunchbull’s niece and that she won’t give Ms. Honey her house back.

Matilda feels very bad for Ms. Honey so she helps her by running Ms.Trunchbull out of town by spooking her, at Crunchem Hall.
