How does the setting influence the conflict and the resolution of the plot?
This story takes place in the future. The setting includes a sphinx, Morlock holes, very little trees, and a messed up community.

The setting causes the conflict because the human race is in two groups, the Morlock and the Eloi. The problem is that the Morlock are treating the Eloi as they would treat cattle.

The Time Travelor needs to help the Eloi. He will fight monstrous creatures with fire. We have given you a hint about the resolution, but you are going to have to read the book to find out the rest.
